WE QUIT THE RATRACE

We are Shaun and Renee. With our dog Lola we decided that chasing the 9 to 5 dream just wasn’t working for us anymore. Like most of us we were going to work, dreaming about the weekend and a chance to get out caravanning, camping, boating or 4 wheel driving, a chance to breathe.

Like everyone we kept dreaming that one day we would hit the road, full-time. In 2025 we headed off on another holiday, 6 weeks exploring the Kimberley, Pilbara and Ningaloo. While doing this we dipped our toes into YouTube to capture and share our travels.

After returning to the rat race and trying to settle in we just couldn’t resist the call to travel. After experiencing a couple of life curveballs, we sat and had a serious conversation about what our future could be. With both of us in our 50s life wasn’t going to wait for us to finally get around to doing something about it. With Renee being able to study on the road and Shaun reaching the point of not being able to face another day in the office, we decided “Someday isn’t a day of the week.“ And with that we started truly Livin Our Best Life.

We now travel Australia in our caravan and Next Gen Ford Ranger Wildrack ute. We share our travels, tips, experiences and lessons on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

We are humbled by the support we have received from our subscribers and followers and decided that this is the life for us moving forward.

We hope to inspire others to follow their dream, whether that is to travel full time, or just get away for a break for a weekend.
